fall photos from the backyard

This sweet little peach and I go out to do our watering every morning in the backyard.  He toddles around exploring leaves and flowers and bugs and I check in on our plants and do the watering part.  It is one of the sweetest parts of my day.

All of a sudden this week, it's been much colder.  The air is crisp in the morning and the nights have been chilly enough to have a fire in the fireplace.  Fall has definitely arrived.

I can't wait for these lemons to turn yellow.  I love having fresh lemons from the yard to cook with.

There are so many beautiful things blooming in the yard.  I loved watching this little bee going about his morning, buzzing from flower to flower.

This is my favorite spot to sit and have big, deep thoughts.  These chairs are tucked away into a secluded little spot of the yard.  I can sit here with a hot cup of cocoa and stare out at the ocean and just be.  It's perfection.

I have been working on a fall project that I plan to share with you all tomorrow.  I hope you'll come back and see what I've been up to!

Happy Sunday, sweet friends!

p.s. I used to live on the Hollister Ranch near Santa Barbara, I will never forget what that was like to live by the ocean... You are a lucky girl.
