what i made monday: something different

This bench overlooks Windansea, a popular beach and surf spot in La Jolla.  Mark spent a lot of time here growing up, surfing and hanging out with friends.

This bench is the spot Mark proposed to me.

And, this is what I made him for Valentine's Day:

It's Poppy's Keychain, stamped with the latitude and longitude of Windansea.

I like that it's different, and unexpected.  It holds a special meaning for us, but it's not something that anyone else who sees his keychain will get. {except of course, you!}

I wrapped it up with a box of these:

And, of course, I put a few in Reid's lunchbox today too {along with some Valentine's confetti!}

If you would like to make some white chocolate pretzels, you can find my super simple recipe here.

I had so much fun with all my Valentine's planning and gifting and crafting!  I'm feeling a little sad it's over tomorrow!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope it's the sweetest one ever!!
