tuesday randomness via instagram

Hi!  It Tuesday, and my randomness post is actually posting on time!  How about that?!

In case you are new around here.  Tuesday Randomness via Instagram is my weekly tradition of sharing a bunch of cell phone pics from our week.  It's nothing too serious, but it has turned into a good way for me to "tune in" and be present and have a photojournal of what's been going on in our little family each week.

I spent Mother's Day relaxing.  I barely got up all day.  Mark had scheduled me a massage in the afternoon and the rest of the day was spent napping, reading, taking a bubble bath.  And, napping again...until I had to get up because Mark said dinner was ready.  It was a very, very spoiled day and I am very grateful.

But I will say, Monday morning came like a freight train out of nowhere.

This was one of the custom necklaces from the Mother's Day batch.  It is the Grace, with the sweetheart charm.  This customer opted to go with the family monogram in lieu of the sweetheart look.  I love the way it turned out.  It's a great way to make it a family tree necklace, and not just a mommy necklace.

Reid was SO excited to give me his Mother's Day gift.

He made me this coaster with tissue paper and mod podge.  How adorable is that?!  And that card, with the picture he drew.  They will be my treasures forever.  I love handmade gifts.  And I love that he spent the entire day telling me how much he loves me and what a good mom I am.

And then he cuddled with me in bed in the afternoon and read to me about all the animals in his Animal Encyclopedia.

One day last week, I took the boys down to the beach to get ice cream.  I love how intense and focused {and quiet!} they are when there is ice cream in front of them.  It may only be 5 minutes, but it's a golden 5 minutes.

My schedule leading up to Mother's Day was pretty insane {hence my blog absence over the last few weeks - sorry about that!}.  My boys tend to get the short end of the stick when the schedule gets crazy, so I made a point to take each of them on a Mommy date by themselves on different days last week.  For Grant's date, I took him to a really fun toy shop and let him do a little shopping and then we went out to lunch at Chili's, just the two of us.

Once you have more than one child, getting alone time with each of them is such a treat.  It is so good for them {and for me!}.

This was another custom, all in gold fill.  This one, sadly, will never make it to the shop because I can no longer get those big hearts.  Boo.

I literally have one left.  This design prices out at $47.  If you would like it, you can email me at sales@londonreid.com

This boy lost another tooth last week!  He is currently missing three....we are supposed to do family photos soon.  Hmmm....

Me and the boys on Mother's Day.  They are so good to me.  And, so is their Daddy ;)

Me and Reid on his date night last week.  He decided he wanted to go to the movies.  So that is what we did.  Complete with popcorn, candy and an Icee.  We saw The Pirates and it was super cute.

My only "rule" when I have a date with the kids is that I try and say "yes" to everything that I possibly can.

"Can I play on your phone?"
"Can I get an Icee?"
"Can I go to bed without brushing my teeth?"

{Seriously, I let the child go to bed without brushing his teeth after eating all that junk...}

Beautiful sunset over the ocean.  Living here never gets old.

I hope your week is off to a wonderful start!!

Please come back tomorrow!!  It's my birthday and I have a treat in store - I promise you don't want to miss it!!
